WAVE PILLOW
The Waves Baby Pillow is inspired by gentle waves of the ocean. It is made with pure cotton that has been handwoven by the weavers of Murshidabad, West Bengal.
It is lovingly quilted and hand embroidered by the women of Shakti Samuha, a self-help group affiliated with our sister organization, Lady Bamford Charitable Trust (LBCT). Nila has been providing them with training to enhance their skills and prospects for additional income generation.
The pillow is filled with mustard seeds, which is known to provide support and mold around fragile heads of babies. The healing properties of mustard seeds also prevent cold and ear infections and calm colic among babies.
